Right-Wingers are RADICAL DUDE

The Department of Homeland Security just released a report warning of right-wing home-grown terrorism.

I suppose labeling the opposition as "radicals", "extremists" and "terrorists" is certainly one method to divide in order to conquer.

It's beyond frightening that the government would release a report that is so obviously biased against a whole political wing within the country in an obvious attempt to divide the people.

This is just the beginning folks.

Read about it here.

The political center did the same thing against the left once upon a time.

Yep. It was wrong then and its wrong now.

Possibly, but that would be to deny the existence of politics itself, which is silly.

Its silly to excuse wrongs simply because politics is inevitable.

Ah, no, Josh, that's the very definition of politics: the interplay of power. Therefore, apolitical stuff like black-and-white wrongs deny the existence of politics.

Politics wouldn't have much power to interplay in a scenario with limited government, eliminating ALL wrongs.

Limited government would not eliminate all wrongs. It would create a different set and eventually lead to revolution.

When was the last time small government led to revolution?

In the tribe, when there was small government. Complete freedom and individuality led to might makes right and eventually to kings and queens.

Josh said...

Lol. Tribes has small government because tribes were small. Different tribes, I'm sure, I had different powers provided to their respective leaders. The size does not reference the number of people, but the powers appropriated to.

True, but powers can not be EXECUTED without muscle.

"True, but powers can not be EXECUTED without muscle."

If the power is legit, why the need for muscle?

Douglas Porter said...

Because power has to coordinate itself to complete its goals and because there is always opposition to power, no matter what. If there wasn't, we'd still be living in a fucking tribe hunting antelopes.

I suppose power needs the muscle to suppress or oppress the opposition?
