Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .
. . .focused on current economical and political events.
"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

Ain't the far right wing great?
A communist wrote the pledge of allegiance.
And?
it comes from the far left wing. . .
Um, no. It was supported by the right in conjunction with the trade unionists.
Anyway, it was pretty stupid idea then, and it is a pretty stupid idea now and probably showcases, in a watered down form, the stupidity of authoritarianism. Pledging allegiance to a piece of fabric, lol... But those were the times.. When the main-stream left supported World War 1, the leftists on the far left were abhorred. Why? Because they were not authoritarians.. Why? Because they came from liberal democratic traditions..
