Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .

"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

No, "the government" is not spending us into oblivion. The people who supported Obama are spending us into oblivion.
The government is the entity that is authorizing the spending.
And they were put into power by those who voted, BONEHEAD>
Right, they made the decision for who to vote for, not how much to spend, the elected official (those within the government) did that.
Are you saying that people don't understand that the democrats are in favor of spending more money?
I'd say given historically Repugs create the largest deficits, those who even care about fiscal responsibility don't really have a choice they can relate to.
No, sorry, Josh, you are living a fantasy land. Some of the population can't relate to the two major parties. The majority put Obama into power and supported his stimulus packages before the Libertards and Republicons used CEO bonuses as a wedge issue, cynically.
Only like 25-30% of the population actually voted for Obama
Yes, and his approval rating is about 60%+, WHICH MEANS A MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION APPROVES OF WHAT THAT PART OF THE POPULATION VOTED IN...
Surveys are not votes. There's a reason an election isn't simply a survey. Only 20 - 30% of the population put Obama in power. Don't cover your mistake.

Hey, I can't help it if most people are lazy. Again, 60 of the population support Obama and more than 50% of the registered voters voted for him. Only 42% voted for the Republicons.
Again, only 20-30% of the population put Obama in power.
