Who knew governors derive their mandate from the federal government? Apparently the democrats knew and didn't tell anybody. Sneaky Bastards.
President-Elect Obama and 50 Democrat senators have called for disgraced Governor Rod Blagojevich to resign from his post.
I thought the citizens of Illinois vote for their governor and therefore he derives their mandate from them?
I would like to thank Governor Rod Blagojevich for being honest, blunt, and concise.

Money in politics can sway the votes. Look at you, Josh. Your opinion is the result of billions of real dollars funneled into the anti-union political machine.
I'm not sure how this is relevant to my quote, and I'm still not sure why you think I'm anti-union.
Your arguments are completely anti-union. If you were pro-union, you'd be pro-Big Three loan.
LOL! Being pro-union means to be for companies that fail?
No No No.
Being Pro-union means supporting the rights of individuals to organize into labour unions. Thats it. It has nothing to do with supporting failing companies.
No, it means acknowledging that a) those companies were profiting before the double whammy, b) that those companies are the center of the economy, c) that those companies affect 10 of millions of people. Being pro-Union means you are committed to the perpetuation of a fair share for the lowest wage earner. Since the UAW represents the highest wage earner, and hence drives up the average wage and the wage of the lowest wage earner, it makes sense that someone who is pro-union should defend the Big Three.
