Ron Paul hits No. 1 on Amazon.com

Ron Paul's new book, Revolution: A Manifesto, hits No. 1 on Amazon.com and has completely sold out.

Revolution: A Manifesto will also debut at No. 7 on the New York Times Bestsellers List and No. 14 on the Wall Street Journal Bestseller List.

Read Ron Paul because many people have read him! Limited printing run for the libertarian audience, though!

I never said that people should read Ron Paul because his book hit #1 on Amazon.

That's the inference people gain from reading the OP. You may not have written it, but it was implied.

So nothing special anyone does should ever be reported on because other people might take interest?

Why do you think it is special? It's obvious that his followers bought the books and that there was a limited printing run. Moreover, Amazon users are more likely to be politically active on the internet, which means they are more likely to be Ron Paul supporters. Couple this fact with the fact that Amazon buyers are still only a significant minority of book buying customers market-wide, and you have a clearer picture as to why his book might be selling so well.

He's also debuting #7 on the New York Times Bestseller list.

That's not exactly #1.

Does "revolution" go backwards?
