Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .
. . .focused on current economical and political events.
"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

There are waiting lines because doctors go the US to make more money. If there was socialized health care on both sides of the border, this problem would disappear.
Ron Paul also seems to not understand that those who would not be covered by the market are just fine and dandy with the current system in Canada. Being covered nationally is a lot better than being not covered by the market.
I also loved how he downplayed the soaring incomes of the doctors and the soaring incomes of the drug companies as a primary source of the increases in costs. He wanted to change the topic really quickly, eh Josh?
Well he'd blame the soaring incomes on the fact that the federal government subsidizes health insurance provided by big business.
There is no need for doctors to be making that much, Josh. Socialized medicine definitely does not lead to that.
Well unfortunately doctors can charge the government subsidized insurance corps as much as they want.
