Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .
. . .focused on current economical and political events.
"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

Bullshit dichotomy sighted! Ron Paul wants to set up freedom, self-reliance, and education as the opposite of regulation, which is obviously not the truth. What a fucking cracked head.
Why is it not the truth?
Because the state has to protect private property, which is clearly authoritarian. Therefore, unless RP is for totally anarchy, he is a hypocrite. They are obviously NOT opposites. Authoritarianism and freedom ALWAYS exist in degrees, of which authoritarianism is a high degree of authority. What we have now is a simply a greater degree of authority, not authoritarianism as RP wants to spin it.
