Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .

"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

Ron Paul boneheads it again. The Japanese have been suffering from deflation because their citizens do not make enough money to buy the products that businesses sell. This is going to happen in the United States soon if new jobs are not created.
Again, the government is not the master, Josh. Ron Paul calls it "runaway government", but he is just complaining because his party lost. There is no such thing as "The Government".
I don't think Paul really cares that the Republican party is not in control.
He is when it comes to "free trade", "social safety nets", "protecting market capitalism", and his continual prattling about "inflation and the FED".
The republican establishment is not for freetrade, eliminating social safety nets, protecting market capitalism, or ending the Fed.
The only thing that they are for is being against the democrats, and sometimes they ending spouting rhetoric that appears to be for free trade and protecting market capitalism.
Paul does not care, at all, that the Republican party is not in control.

Ah, yes it is, yes it is, yes it is, and yes they are. They might be slow, but they are definitely for accomplishing those things.

Paul has taken on a kind of whiny "why are we doing this" tone, polite as it is. It is the type of tone that one expects from someone whose party lost the election.
