The video below is graphic. It is a video which displays the murder of Reuters journalist Namir Noor-Eldeen, driver Saeed Chmagh and several other Afghan civilians by the fire of a US Apache helicopter in Afghanistan.
As a Canadian, I continue to be astonished in regard to the un-wavering support my government provides the US as it continues to display complete disregard for human life.
Please not the nonchalant attitude of the soldiers. Very disturbing.

You should be more worried that such things are kept secret and that this video has put Wikileaks on the Pentagons list as a threat. Yup, free speech is a threat. But why would you care? It is your party that got rid of freedom of speech on the battlefield and for footage that is deemed "against national security".
I don't have a party.
Obama has continued the same policies.
I am worried about the suppression of free speech. However, that 30% of my work goes toward support of institutions which enable this behavior is a concern closer to heart.
I'm very much concerned about this more local attack on free speech which I plan to post something about:
"A Nova Scotia Supreme Court judge has approved a request by Halifax’s top firefighters to order a weekly newspaper and Google to reveal the identities and IP addresses of seven people who allegedly defamed them.
"I find the order is appropriate in the circumstances," Justice Heather Robertson said Wednesday in granting the application made by the lawyer for Chief Bill Mosher and the deputy chief, Stephen Thurber.
"The court doesn’t condone the conduct of anonymous Internet users.""

Sure you do. Your ideology is Republican. Everything the Republicans have done since Reagan you are in support of. You, and your ilk, are just using corporatism as a ploy to further fragment the economy in a time when millions have lost their jobs and self-respect. You guys prey on that weakness to attempt to institute an even more draconian economic environment.
"I am worried about the suppression of free speech. However, that 30% of my work goes toward support of institutions which enable this behavior is a concern closer to heart."
Again, your ideology allowed the Republicans to rise to power. It allowed them to form the military as it is.
:)
I don't care about local Canadian politics, Josh. And if you really want my opinion? It is your ideology that has created a political environment that allows people to think that free speech is defamation. Moreover, it is your ideology that allows articles to be written about alleged defamation that HAVE NO REFERENCE TO THE CONTENT OF THAT DEFAMATION>>>
