Hi, for the common good is a clause at the very beginning of the constitution. I think this person needs to reread...
I've honestly not read the entire constitution act of 1867. Its on my list.
BTW, i didn't say he was right, i was just commenting on the similarity of the quote compared with the rhetoric used in the US.
What common good is and which parts of it are provided for by government is Congress' choice.
