Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .
. . .focused on current economical and political events.
"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

This was a positive conversation. Unfortunately, a majority of the politicians support military industrial capitalism. A war is an excuse for a very special class of capitalist to continue earning money.
Unfortunately Ron Paul is not smart enough to publicly support the social welfare system, because if he did that, he would have much, much more support on this issue from the liberals and left.
Labeling all bad things "capitalism" is a lame propaganda tool from the left.
I watched Michael Moore's documentary on Capitalism not so long ago...he failed to define it. He present lots of bad things happening to people and blamed capitalism, but he never told us what capitalism actually is, except that its the cause of people's woes. I really hate that man.
Ron Paul has publicly supported the social welfare system if thats what it will take to bring the troops home. He has said over and over again he would take some of the money saved to help keep social programs afloat.
Ron Paul is going to have to defend it a hell of a lot more on TV before I believe he is really in favor of it.
Moore is a social democrat. He is pro-capitalism, Josh.
