Random thoughts and interesting tidbits. . .
. . .focused on current economical and political events.
"But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual."
Thomas Jefferson

It's sad, but the fiat money system equals politics for these jokers. If it didn't, they wouldn't ignore everything else. Christ, they are still fighting with kings and queens, when the real problem is falling wages.
All you ever talk about is falling wages. You focus on a symptom when you should be focusing on the disease.
Money system is politics. If the US dollar collapsed the government would likely follow.
The world around us as we know it is beginning to collapse and what will come out of it in the end is the big question. Falling wages will be the least of our concern.
The money system is NOT politics. It is one political issue.
The money system is the lifeblood of society. Its importance is of the same level as the type of government ruling a nation.
Not at all. The money system seems to be a development. If the banks were creating money out of thin air long before the FED, then it suggests that the economy is not something you can plan. It is developing. It is not an objective Sim City simulation that you can make work "properly".
What you just said is one of the stupidist things you've said.
Its like saying every institution we have today has developed on its own over time and therefore its not something you can change for the better. Crazy.
As people we can force and influence change for the better. Thats how change happens and institutions DEVELOPE.
If the banks were making money out of thin air long before the Fed it just suggests that people were greedy even before the Fed, thats all.
Talking about stupid comments: "If the banks were making money out of thin air long before the Fed it just suggests that people were greedy even before the Fed, thats all." Then let's get rid of all banks, Josh!
Well I was intrigued over the idea of a "resource based economy" suggested by the Venus Project.
I'm going to watch it this weekend. I've been very busy. Usually your posts are short enough for me to watch and digest between classes.
