Christmas gone?

Could people become so poor that the commercialism that has been entrenched in Christmas for so many years will disappear?

I've always hope it would anyway, just kinda hoped it wouldn't need to get this bad for it to happen.

What is the alternative to a fiat system, Josh? Gold? Oh yeah, gold was a fiat money system as well!

Gold is the opposite of a fiat money system...

Bullshit. There still has to be an authority that coins the gold.

You are being dishonest with yourself, Josh.

Besides, if gold were to be minted as a currency again, the demand for it as coinage would far outstrip its supply. This would make the price of gold worth more than the commodities and products it would be suppose to represent as an exchange medium. Again, basic supply and demand.
